Siemens Logistics is bringing to market the world’s first Misplaced Item Clearer (MIC) for cross-belt sorters in parcel sorting centers. The innovative device uses sensors to detect items that, due to their small size and low weight, are inadvertently positioned in between cross-belts. MIC automatically removes them using compressed air and moves them into an outlet.

Siemens Logistics is bringing to the market a new variant of its tried-and-tested VarioRoute for flow splitting in parcel sorting centers. Thanks to this enhancement, splitting parcel flows, filtering out rejected parcels or rerouting consignments can be tailored to specific customer requirements.

Siemens Logistics is launching its new Network Booster software for parcel and mail distribution networks. This innovative solution creates full visibility of processes within a network and allows enhanced network performance.
